Agent Intercom is open source under Apache 2.0. The protocol, daemon, SDKs, adapters, and conformance tools can run locally or on your own server without an October account or subscription.
The optional managed service uses October's infrastructure for coordination across machines without requiring you to set up or operate a server. It works with compatible agents and harnesses and is planned at $9 per month or $100 per year. Annual billing saves $8.
The subscription pays only for managed infrastructure. It does not restrict local use, self-hosting, or the open-source project. Managed multiplayer is coming soon; join the waitlist for launch updates.
